Experience

Experience designing graphical user interfaces and design solutions for various projects. Implement sites from artwork to full working e-commerce Web sites. * Same ownership.

Freelance Sr. Front End Developer, February 2009 — Present.

• Responsible for build-outs of Photoshop creative’s into full working valid web sites. Used xhtml, css, javascript (jquery, etc.) and other languages. Made sure all sites were cross browser compliant.
• Produced clean, valid xhtml/css, etc. code by hand so programming could easily implement the site into their platforms.
• Produced html email blasts. All css was inline code, and usage of tables for graphical layout, making it visible for various email clients. Collaborated on design mockups to make sure the text and graphics were seen by all email clients.
• Sliced out graphics in Adobe Photoshop CS4, and then laid out the sites in Dreamweaver CS4 in code or design view mode. Sites used languages such as XHTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, MooTools, etc. Uploaded sites using FileZilla.

• Built-out and managed over 150+ sites, typically between 1-5 page sites. Optimized sites for SEO rankings, made sure graphics were condensed in size and sites had as much text as possible.
• Designed info, checkout pages, etc. based off the layout of the homepage. I’d a new layout that coincided with the look and feel of the homepage. I would also design any asset images that were needed as well.
• Made sure all sites were cross browser compliant, and fixed issues with other builds (not created by me). This included browsers on Mac and Windows OS’, and IE6 as well.
• Collaborated with programming on launching new e-commerce platforms and gave new idea’s on how to make building out sites easier for designers. It helped company eliminate production time in various graphic tasks.
• Composed content in Notepad and HomeSite to produce HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. Designed sites in Adobe Photoshop CS3,  Dreamweaver CS3, etc. Sites used languages such as: HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, XML, etc.
